Q: What books do you take?
A: We take all kinds of books, but have the greatest interest in nonfiction. Books must be in clean, saleable condition. If a book comes with any extra items (like a CD or disc), those must be included as well. We do buy some fiction titles, but not as many as nonfiction. We always love to receive textbooks, and have the most competitive prices for cash offers! Type in the ISBNs to check if we are buying your particular book.
Q: Why don't I just sell my books on eBay or Amazon?
A: If you have ever sold something online, you know how difficult it can be. First you have to list the item, take pictures, describe the condition, and post the listing. Then you have to field all sorts of crazy questions and requests from *potential* buyers. Then, you have to fend off bogus buyers who want to pay you with a cashier's check from Nigeria. Finally, you come up with a buyer...getting them to pay you will take at least a week! Then they email you every day to find out if you have shipped it out yet. Then there are customer service nightmares, when buyers claim that they never received their purchase. Your money gets taken away from you, and you have no control. Now it has been several months, or even a year (or more!), and you are no better off than when you started.

Q: What books won’t you take?
A: We take lots of different kinds of books. Sometimes, we can’t accept a book because there is an oversupply in the marketplace. All books should be in saleable condition. They should not have any moisture damage, smells, rough wear, or heavy markings. None of the text should be obscured. None of the pages should be missing.
Q: How do I get paid?
A: We can send you a check, or process payment via PayPal. You can select your preference on checkout.
Q: Why are you buying my books?
A: We place used books in homes where they are needed – where they will be enjoyed by a whole new group of people. We help to keep books in use by reselling them in a variety of venues.
Q: How much does shipping cost?
A: Shipping is free! In order to offer you the absolute best prices, our postage-paid shipping labels will go via the postal service's Media Mail class.
Q: How long until I get paid?
A: When we receive your shipment, please allow two days to confirm your order and process payment. The specific time that your order will take depends in large part on the speed of the postal service. We recommend adding Delivery Confirmation so you can track your package and know when we receive it.
Q: What if I lost my mailing label?
A: Please contact us as soon as possible. It is important to ship your books out as quickly as possible – preferably within three days. This is for both of us – prices fluctuate rapidly, so we want to be sure to give you the absolute best price for your books. If they aren’t shipped in a timely manner, we may have to reprice our offer.
Q: What if I send you books that you won’t buy?
A: Your packing list is your best guide for what books to send to us. When we receive your books, if the condition of any of them is poor, we will be in touch with you to determine if you want to pay the postage charge to have them returned to you.
